Every year, at the department store of the Keikyuu line of Kamiooka station in Yokohama there is a shogi festival for 3 days where many players are invited. Karolina Styczynska becomes first foreign female shogi player in Japan

Karolina won yesterday’s game against Sadamasu Minami, with this victory, Karolina, fulfilled the conditions for her grade up from 3kyuu to 2kyuu.
